Funny that last season Everton were in the relegation zone without penalties and miraculously managed to stay in the EPL... Looks like they have a tough task to survive again this season... If they do get a 10 point penalty they won't stand a chance...
With a few games left means Everton have to win a few more games than the teams in the relegation zone at the moment. Actually, I'm sure they will be able to do that if you look at their quality. At least they will be able to survive in the League. This is huge pressure for all Everton officials. I think their chances are 50:50 because a team like Everton can spring a surprise and get good results at the end of the season.
The remaining match are still very much because we are only halfway through the season but in this case they still have to look forward because after all, if you look at the current condition for the next few matches in the next 2 months they will face quite tough matches where they will face big club and dark horses in the EPL this season.
Manchester City, Manchetser united, Tottenham and several dark horse club like West Ham and Brighton will be ready to tackle them in getting points so this needs greater concentration from Everton if they really want to get good points and get out of the zone now.
The new charges for FFP offences could also be destabilising for them which is making things worse so inevitably they will have to focus under the pressure of their internal problems which IMO is a difficult situation to be in.
