Funny that last season Everton were in the relegation zone without penalties and miraculously managed to stay in the EPL... Looks like they have a tough task to survive again this season... If they do get a 10 point penalty they won't stand a chance...
For the past three seasons or so, Everton has been springing up surprises of not being relegated from the premier league at the end of each season, upon having a poor performance in those seasons. We don't know whether they will be that lucky again to survive this time around if 10 points are deducted from their total number of points matches played this season.
With the way I foresee the stand of Everton in the Premier League this season, they are likely to be kicked out of it. I said this, because of the points gap they have ahead of those teams in the relegation zone
I can't really say that Everton will be able to escape relegation this season if 10 points are deducted from. their current points. Currently, Everton is occupying seventeenth position in the Premier League competition table with 21 matches played this season, and points gap differences with other teams that are in relegation are just two or three, which even some of the teams in the relegation zone have outstanding games to even play. They will really find it hard to escape relegation with their current performance unless they need to put in more effort.
This season will be an interesting one. Liverpool are in first place, and they will want to do everything to maintain the first position, but as we can see, Manchester City is in second place, and one of their key players who have been absent since the beginning of the season is already back. As we can see, his performances have been really impressive since he came back, he was able to secure 1 goal and 1 assist for Manchester City in their last match against Newcastle. De Bruyne was substituted in the second half of the match, but his performance was really nice in the match. So I am sure that with de Bruyne back at Manchester City, they will want to do everything possible to win the league this season again.
It always looks very interesting any season that Liverpool is topping the Premier League table toward the end of the season because they hardly give up, so I believe that this ending of the season will be tough. Manchester City is now back in form, so these two teams and to drag each other at the end of the season if possible, no two will face any problems of player injury, and probably Arsenal may also just be in the title race, but I can't really talk about them now because of the decline in performance they are just facing recently.
