I really don't understand why Daniele De Rossi has to be Mourinho's replacement. Because as far as I know, Daniele De Rossi also didn't produce good results in his first career as a coach at SPAL, a club in Serie C group B. But yes, young coaches can sometimes make surprises. For example, Arteta surprised us all in the Premier League.
Maybe being AS Roma coach is a great honor for Daniele De Rossi. This will be his first experience as a coach at a big club. And Daniele De Rossi actually has long experience as a player at AS Roma for 18 years. But I still doubt whether it will be a good thing for Roma or the opposite.
I personally might understand the reasons behind why the club chose Daniele De Rossi. Because it is this coach who actually understands AS Roma much longer than the others. Because Daniele De Rossi is a former AS Roma player and he played for AS Roma for quite a long time.
And what's more, Daniele De Rossi's contract at Roma is also not a long contract. But only a short contract until June 2024.
So the club is also careful in this regard. And maybe he will consider a long contract if Daniele De Rossi shows good performance as Roma coach for the remainder of this season.
So far as I know Danielle De Rossi isn't the right coach for a big club in Italy like AS Roma considering the fact that he has no managerial experience with any bigger clubs, though he may seem to have gotten more experience about AS Roma due to the fact that he had a long career with the club but still i don't see him as fit enough to coach Roma but notwithstanding, let's see how his coaching skills with be impacted in AS Roma only then can we rate his ability.
