Yesterday, Napoli won their game in the semi-final 3-0 against Florenze. The first team in the final, and if Inter Milan win today (which I think they will) then it will be a nice final. Inter Milan against SSC Napoli, last seasons cup winners against last seasons Serie A champions. This year it could go the other way, but I think Inter Milan will win Serie A and the Supercoppa. Lazio Rom have had a good run, winning all of their last 5 games. The last game between the two teams was in December 2023 and Inter Milan won that 2-0. So, like you, I would bet on Inter today.
It was a test of strength and pride for Napoli, and what a test!! The 3-0 result makes it clear that the team is there, they just need to recover their motivation and above all their morale which is at zero. In my opinion they can do it, but this season is now over.. but is good start for next season!
It was a very good result that they could achieve, I did not expect them to win with a score that was quite 3-0, the article in Serie A itself they did not look beter than the club they beat, Fiorentina.
They should be able to show this when they are in Serie A too, because in my opinion Seri A should be their priority. Not to say the competition isn't good, but on a competitive level I think we'd have the same thoughts.
I hope they can do the same when they return to Serie A, where they've declined a lot after winning the chmpionship last season. It would be interesting if they could stil compete for the Scudeto, but they can't do that.
