Basically there is no such thing as success in gambling, only luck with a much uncertain level. If someone is involved in gambling, it means they are considering the level of risk that results whether gambling is responsible or not. But the problem is when gambling is at the addiction stage because they can no longer control it, causing problems for the person concerned in considering stopping. So gamble when you have money and don't need to think about luck or success in it, at least if something happens we can accept the consequences.
Gambling has been going on for a long time since before we were born and there may be no way to limit gambling if every individual does not want to stop gambling. It is difficult to stop gambling if it is not filled with other productive activities because psychology will be much more difficult to handle and someone will really stop when the gambling activity they no longer like.
Players must understand one important thing: you can't play forever. This, of course, can be done if you play with small bets, but this cannot continue indefinitely. This can be done if the player has a regular income and allows a small part of it in the form of entertainment in gambling, but most players will always want more and more. I think that small bets will not bring the same excitement. It’s kind of a psychological trap if you try a big bet, as if you’ve opened a new level.
Of course there are successful players, but I can't imagine them in games where everything is based only on luck and pressing the "spin" button. Absolutely anyone can press the button, and even bet on red or black in roulette. I consider only players where a skill is needed, such as poker, to be professionals.
