There are good players in the West Indies team, but they give very little importance to playing in the national team, they play more in the Premier League. Especially in the big events like IPL, the best players of West Indies are seen participating. If all those players had played with the importance of playing in their national team, the West Indies team might not have been in this situation today. I have seen very bad performance of West Indies team especially in ODI and Test. They play fairly well in T20 but they can't perform so well in ODI and Test cricket. So if the West Indies team wants to improve the game then the team management should give priority to the national team first and then play the premier league. If such rules are issued then the game of West Indies will definitely change.
