It is essential in a volatile market like crypto, but having the same type of project won't reduce the risk of volatility. If there is any bad news regarding a certain type of project, all the projects in that category will be affected by the news. So it is not actually diversification, but I am admitting that those three projects have the potential to be successful in the long run.
