Even though there were doubts he managed to give his first win in the match against Hellas Verona. Lukaku and Pallegrini managed to save De Rossi in their first match because they managed to lock up three points in the match. Initially, many people doubted De Rossi's abilities because he was not a proven coach and even though this match did not prove anything because the opponent he faced was weak, I think this was a good step.
De Rossi was only appointed as interim coach and I am sure he does not have a heavy burden on this matter. The Europa League will probably be a good show for him to prove himself and even though it is difficult I think his chances are also great, as long as he is able to do as he did in this match.
Well Verona is near relegation spots if not in relegation spots as I have not seen the standings lately so it was expected of Roma to win no matter that they just had changed coach.The real test for Roma will be in Europe where they will look again to go further in the European competition they are playing trying to repeat the success that they had with Mourinho and honestly I did not understand the firing of this coach when he was the most successful of coaches for Roma since the times of Capello who won the title of Serie A with them,not the best move I would say and they will feel the impact in the long run unfortunately for them.
Getting to further places in Europe would be good but I do not think that it will be all that simple for that much. I hope that we could consider the situation they are in which would be all that much more difficult, that should be considering it a lot better. I hope that Roma could get better at the league, that is the most important thing for them, they are not looking like fourth is possible but fifth could be possible for them.
I hope that Mourinho sacking would not become something that would be troubled for them. If they regret it later on, that would be a lot worse for them, they should consider it a lot more and maybe it would not be favoured if they do end up with a bad result, fans may get angry about it.
