If I'm not wrong Manchester City can take the lead from Liverpool if they manage to win their missing game. Manchester City will probably win that game which is Brentford as well. But until then they have to keep the point gap like this at worst. Maybe they can get ahead earlier as well in Salah's absence for Liverpool but we will see.
Liverpool again showed their consistency against Bournemouth and they managed to get the full three points with a quite promising win. Nunez and Jota showed quite a lot of confidence in this match and both managed to score two goals each. Without Mohammed Salah, Liverpool did not show a big change in the way they attack and I see Liverpool as having a much bigger chance of coming out as champions this season.
In short Liverpool must be fully aware of the big threat behind. In the meantime I'm curious about Arsenal too. Do you think they can rejoin the title competition? I really can't be sure of them because of the highly inconsistencies they have every season.
Liverpool's biggest threat is Manchester City and I don't see Arsenal having much of a chance. Arsenal's mentality has always been broken in the last 10 matches and if they lose then it will continue to follow. I am not optimistic about Arsenal because the previous season was much more likely but in the end they were eliminated from the title race.
