Honestly I was a bit worry about how Liverpool would cope in the league in the absence of their playmaker Salah who was on AFCON duty in Ivory coast even without.  Trent Alexander-Arnold, however I was amazed with Liverpool convincing win against Bournemouth in his absence the likes of Nunez, Diogo Jota, Gakpo all performanced brilliantly well without those key players with the win I strongly believe Liverpool would give Man City a run for their money as far the title contenders is concerned, though Arsenal had been very inconsistent so far in the league, however I believe the team would make things difficult for both Liverpool and Man City title bids.

Liverpool maintain a comfortable lead over City, but don't forget that City have one game in hand, which could allow City to move closer to Liverpool by a more comfortable distance of 2 points. Liverpool, in addition to a good attack, this season also stands out for its good defense, at the moment it has the best defense in the Premier League, Klopp again proves that he is worthy of his place as head coach. I like City, but if Liverpool could become champions this season it would be deserved.
When Salah was absent from defending the Egyptian national team, I was worried about Liverpool's performance in the matches in January and early February, who would be playing without Salah. But it seems like my worries have been allayed after seeing that Liverpool's 3 matches went without a hitch. Liverpool even managed to win in these 3 matches. They could even beat Arsenal without Salah in their squad. So I remain optimistic that Liverpool will be fine even without Salah for a while. My only worry is that Salah could suffer a more serious injury when he recovers from the injury he is currently suffering from. Because Salah will go back to his national team when he recovers. And I'm worried that he will suffer a repeat injury that could lead to more serious injuries. Liverpool's current position is still safe. Although it is true that Man City can actually narrow the difference in points if they manage to win the match which is still pending. So a small difference could really put Liverpool in danger. It's just that Liverpool just have to focus on collecting full points so that Man City can't catch them.
