Brighton vs Wolverhampton ended in a 0-0 goalless draw.I expected Brighton to score 2-3 goals in this game, but they couldn't capitalize on the positions they found. They certainly played better than Wolverhampton, but they couldn't find a goal and had to settle for a draw in such a tiring game. Brighton probably won't finish 5th in the league but I think they want to at least give it a go.There's a lot of competition between the teams and I don't think anyone can afford to lose any more points. The league is half over and every point lost from now on will be important for them.
Brighton haven't been able to attack very well, if they can attack strongly they will probably win against Wolverhampton. All things considered, Brighton had 72% possession but were unable to score. Wolverhampton' goalkeeper made a good save to prevent a successful attack, and the goal remained 0-0 until the last minute. As Brighton are currently at 7th position in the points table, it doesn't look like they will be able to move up to 5th position. If they could have won the match against Wolverhampton, there would have been a chance to finish 5th in the points table, but every team needs to successfully collect points if they want to go well in the league.
