De Rossi was appointed by Roma management to replace Jose Mourinho, until his contract expired for 6 months. In my opinion, it is very difficult and not easy for De Rossi to show his abilities with Roma if he only has 6 months, it seems like a coach needs quite a long time to develop and adapt to his squad. Especially against Inter Milan, whose performance is currently showing well, it will be very difficult to match their game in a situation like this. Maybe De Rossi should completely overhaul Roma's entire playing strategy with his commitment to be even better in the future. Not only that, De Rossi and management must be able to take advantage of the transfer moment to choose really good players for their squad so that they can bring victory to Roma and not be in vain later.
I dont think Roma should put a significant target for De Rossi to achieve. The limited timeframe of 6 months does present a significant challenge for De Rossi to fully showcase his coaching abilities and make substantial changes to the team's playing strategy. Adapting to a new role as a coach and implementing changes within such a short period, especially against strong opponents like Inter Milan, can indeed be a daunting task.
A clear and effective playing strategy is crucial for a team's success, and if implemented successfully, it could contribute to Roma's improvement in the long term. De Rossi may need to consider a complete overhaul of Roma's playing strategy demonstrates an awareness of the need for bold and decisive actions to bring about positive changes. Transfers can be pivotal in shaping the team according to the coach's vision. Utilizing the transfer window to bring in quality players aligns with the idea that strengthening the squad with strategic signings can have a significant impact on the team's performance. But I doubt De Rossi will have previllege to sign any player he wants to execute his plan, remembering Mourinho faced that isssue in the past.
