I can't pick any specific altcoin that I know will have potential, but I believe it will be one of these 3 categories.

1. Layer 2's
2. AI's
3. Layer 1's

TBH, it's pretty hard to pick which coins will have the potential to grow in the future. There are some tokens like SOL, AVAX, ARB, ATOM, ADA, INJ, etc. I guess it would be better for us to do our deep research on which projects we believe will grow a few years from now. What I did is I just bought different altcoins that I believe will grow a few years from now and then invested a few hundred bucks on it. If it become successful then good for me, if it's not then still good. Cheesy

you are right these 3 categories are in hype nowadays. specially layer2 because of their airdrops and other lucrative features for crypto traders. there are so many Layer 2 and Layer 1 Projects out there. but I didn't see a lot of Ai projects. the one I recently goot to know was the one that had their Launchpool in Binance and got listed after words.
The second AI project i heard which is also listed in Binance is Fatch.ai. that look pretty promising too.
other than these 3 categories, I think projects related to Real World assets have good potential too.
