I think we can still recall how the last title Chase ended between this two teams, Liverpool were indeed holding strong but at the end Manchester city still overtook them and became victorious and if you ask me, Liverpool hasn't got the perseverance and consistency to out run Liverpool and become victorious. If it's one thing this Manchester city team is good that would be the love for chasing teams ahead of them and they have continued to show that they are probably the best team when it comes to succumbing their opponent chances to win the EPL title.
A repeatition of what happened in the last title chase may most likely not happen this time considering the consciousness of mind klop has got with all these games and knowing what's at stake I aswell see that he's seeing an opportunity with this season and will definitely want to utilize every opportunity with the season
Liverpool currently is much better than they were last season so I think if you are talking about them been able to persevere they current have what it takes only that Manchester city is actually a real trough one if they must tackle but Liverpool is better positioned currently such that they can at any point utilize opportunity if it does avails it self, this season hasn't been a really smooth ride for Manchester city aswell but now with the return of their injured players, they are definitely going to be a tough team to challenge currently than they were earlier.
