Girona simply demolished Sevilla by scoring 5 goals. I was feeling Girona would win but this was much more than I felt. Sevilla really had no power left to defend their opponent and like I said before I don't know how they will manage to save themselves from this situation before relegating.
Can’t we just conclude that this team, Girona is so good and winning the La Liga this season shouldn’t bull by luck for them but a deserving one for them. Just look how they played and won Sevilla with a four goals difference, they are indeed ready for the fight of the title winner this season. How they play, organised themselves in the league is so exceptional and they don’t fail to give the best result in order to maintain their stand in the league. I must say this should be the best season Girona would have ever played for a long time now. Sevilla on the other hand keep producing poor results, they shouldn’t wait until when they have no power left and then relegate from the La Liga which won’t be nice to see it happen after winning the Europa League just last season. 
Girona are a team that can even beat teams like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid by scoring 4 goals against each one of them. I mean even this by itself is just an incredible work! 
When it comes to Girona's title chance it is quite high now. I still don't want to see it higher than Real Madrid though but Girona also deserves the title for sure. Girona need to beat Real Madrid first to get much closer to the title by the way. Their previous game was a big defeat for Girona by 3-0 home. At Santiago Bernabeu their job will be extra difficult.
Girona's players also managed to perform well against the two giants of La Liga like Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. And they defeated both these teams. Both teams are now far from the top of the table as a result of the defeat against Girona. Madrid and Girona are now fighting for the La Liga title.
Girona scored 51 goals in 21 matches this season. Girona has scored the highest number of goals in La Liga this season. Madrid scored 43 goals in 20 matches. This shows that Girona's attack is very strong this season. And so it is now challenging for any team to win against this team.
I believe that Real Madrid is the only club that might hinder their goal of winning the league this season. This is because Real Madrid is also in the race and might even have upper hand than Girona, if Real Madrid win their outstanding match.
