I agree with you and you’re right about how you think the final match is going to be if the two best team’s remaining in the competition qualifies for the final match. Chelsea already qualified and no doubt many will be sure of Liverpool qualifying to the final also to meet Chelsea. For Liverpool to have come this far in the competition, it means they’re also keen on winning this title to add to their trophies they’ll be fighting for this season. I wound have assumed that Liverpool will not put much effort into the match if it had not been the final match, and that will give Chelsea a better opportunity to beat them.
But as it stands now, Liverpool will be coming with full squad to win this match and that will lower the chances of Chelsea winning any trophy this season. Chelsea must have already given up on the fight for the league title and their focus has been transferred here, they will also want to win the final but if they don’t end up winning it at the end, they’ll be disappointed because with all indications it seems so because of how powerful and strong Liverpool is now in the field of play as compared to Chelsea’s.
