Being held to a draw in the first half didn't make Dortmund lose their way and they managed to win the match against Bochum with a landslide score of 3-1. As hosts, Dortmund certainly cannot embarrass their fans and therefore they must win with an additional 3 points. If we look at the statistics, Dortmund completely controlled the game with 63% ball possession and 6 shots on target. The result of the shots on target resulted in a hat trick for Fullkrug and he was the best player in this match.
Bochum was only lucky when they got one goal from Dortmund defender Schlotterbeck's suicide and the rest Bochum was unable to do anything. These additional 3 points are very special for Dortmund because they can return to the top 4 and Leipzig's previous defeat made them move freely to this position.
