I fully agree here and as for the first point you brought up, yes exactly, Girona is playing their open style with high pace and a lot of offensive pressure and it comes at a cost. But if they were bad in their offensive game, it wouldn't pay off and they were probably to be found somewhere in the middle of the table. But they understand very well what their strength is and they exploit their potential to its fullest.
They have young players and many players who have never experienced any chance to find for La Liga title. It is a magic season for Girona and their players are actually enjoying every match in this season. Together, they are making this magic season for their club and it can be recorded as a best season ever in Girona history even they won't be the league champion.
In their
club history, they have had only 4 seasons in La Liga with a highest position is 10th. So I believe they will not fall to deeper than 9th position when this season ends, and it means they will make a new milestone in La Liga for their history.
This is because of the tactics possessed by the Girona coach, Michel, who was able to provide his extraordinary skills in building a club that was an ordinary club into an extraordinary club. Because thanks to him Girona was able to appear impressive and was difficult for other clubs to beat except Real Madrid, this season only Real Madrid has been able to beat Girona so Girona still appears quite confident and the coach they have has also given their best so as long as Girona still has a narrow points difference with Real Madrid then Girona still has a chance to win the Laliga title.
It is true that Girona is relatively new to La Liga because they have only participated in 4 seasons in La Liga and in the last 3 seasons they were relegated to the 2nd division and in an instant last season they were able to appear surprising and were in the middle of the standings and this season they are really at the top of the standings an extraordinary achievement if they can win the title then it will create an impressive La Liga history.
