Bayer Leverkusen have undoubtedly been the best team in the German Bundesliga since the start of the season and still looks very much strong to still finish the season as the winners if the German Bundesliga title even when their top scorer this season Victor Boniface have been out injured.
However we must not forget that their rivals Bayern Munich is also the strongest team in the German league in terms of quality of players and now that the top two sides in the German Bundesliga standings are separated by just two points, I think Xabi Alonso's men have got something to worry about on that one. In the last 11 seasons in the German league, Bayern Munich have dominated the league and considering that they have a lethal striker like Harry Kane who's never won a trophy as player, Bayern Munich are still trying to make sure they finish the season with the league title. So for Leverkusen to lay their hands in the German Bundesliga trophy at the end of the season, they really need to be at their best till the end of the season
With everything that's happened in the German league from the start of the season till now. I'm certain that it won't be an easy ride for Munich. Xabi Alonso is making the manager's seat hot for him and Thomas Tuchel is striving to be meaningful to the team more than he currently is.
The team won't want to be submissive to Leverkusen that just came out of the blue, even though it's really not a criteria for Tuchel's job to be retained, he just has to make the team stand out and prevail against Munich. The two sides are currently in thesame range and tempo and assuredly, the next few weeks would be heated up for the Bundesliga as both teams would take every game extremely serious.Tuchel has to regain Munich's pride, there's chance for him to do so, he just needs extra effort while hoping on a little of Leverkusen's back slide.
