I fully agree here and as for the first point you brought up, yes exactly, Girona is playing their open style with high pace and a lot of offensive pressure and it comes at a cost. But if they were bad in their offensive game, it wouldn't pay off and they were probably to be found somewhere in the middle of the table. But they understand very well what their strength is and they exploit their potential to its fullest. Now imagine they finish the season as the title winner and then know that they have to improve their defense next season. They are in a great position to sign new players for their defense. They have the money as their is a huge investment fund behind the club. This could become a success story in the next few years that nobody really anticipated.
I again agree as the trend is the same. Both teams only lost one game and they tie a game every now and then, but I don't see how any of these two teams would have a losing streak anytime soon.
Girona has been doing really well in the soccer season, surprising everyone with their great performance. Even though Girona even Girona is playing perfectly, I expected Girona to win when they faced Mallorca because they are not in a total good shape, especially since the match was a Copa del Rey game. The most surprising part for me was that Mallorca actually won with a little goal margin even after giving enough goal gaps from the beginning.
But in my opinion it still won't be that easy because to become a leader in La Liga you have to have deeper experience. even competing with popular teams in La Liga is not an easy task because popular teams have more experience with various strategies to be able to regain their position first. but I really hope there is something different this season Girona must become the leader in La Liga to see new history without the boredom of seeing every season led by a team that always dominates La Liga. Madrid for sure won't make it so easy for them and so let's anticipate how the remaining weeks of the season would turn out
