In fact we can see that the link between Benzema and Madrid is only to increase media traffic because in the end based on Ancelotti's statements, it seems that he has no intention of bringing Benzema back to Madrid.
As we know last season he was let go from Madrid so why include him back in the list when everyone has agreed to start a new start for each of them.
Benzema is a good player and he is one of Madrid legends who cant be forgotten but that doesn't mean we should hold back and bring him back in his old age. At the very least, there should be a longterm contribution and Ancelotti likes that scheme so much that they always bring in young players and now that the Benzema rumor mill is in full swing we know that this won't be the case because they (Madrid and Benzema) have gone their separate ways.
Moreover, Real Madrid will never want to bring in old players. For example, last season Sergio Ramos was still free before joining Sevilla, many media spread rumors that Ramos would return to Madrid but in fact he didn't.
Ronaldo, Ramos and Benzema will not return to Madrid as players. It is possible that some of them will return to Madrid for new positions, either as youth team coaches or staff, as Raul, Casillas, Roberto Carlos and Guti have done.
After all, what can be expected for players over 35 years old and competing in Europe? This will only create a bad dressing room situation. It is better for them to play in mediocre leagues with high salaries because it is to support them before their retirement comes.
Actually, it can still be done because if you look at the names Joselu and Brahim Dias, they are not new names for them and they bring back these players when needed but of course this does not mean they will bring back Benzema because seeing from what Ancelotti is doing now they will only bring players according to the needs they face.

I still feel that a new name will grace Madrid's attack next season and it won't be Benzema.
