Knowing when to stop is not actually about your losing side but could also be on our winning side. It is important on both sides for me. It limits your loss and it maximize your winnings. If you apply it on one side things will become unbalanced and might drive negative results.
Thank you for this, there is some advice that is not so general, and I will always say that when we are advising regarding gambling, we should ensure that it portrays the moment and the situation, it can't be such that can cover for all situations. Like in losing, one can continue to gamble and might recover back their losses. Yes, a single winning could cover up for the past losses, but what if out of fear the gambler didn't proceed to bet on the one that caused that winning? The same thing goes for winning, we can say that it is all about greed when we win and continue to play, but when we play more and win more, won't we be happy?

Not that I am encouraging excessive gambling, but one must know their limits and must have their plans before they bet, that is my own, not that a general and random advice will be fitting for all categories of gambling sectors and individual personality, and that is not true. Once there are goals towards gambling, there should be plans and budgets, and if one could ensure that they are handled professionally and without emotions, I am sure that it will only be positive. Even if the gambler loses, it will not be much as the account would have been better managed with the preplanned measures in place.
