I like the idea of Hansi Flick running Barcelona, but Im not sure if I want him to. After working at Bayern Munich, he led Germany to the World Cup win. But Barça's money problems might mean they cant help Flick's trade market goals. They could look into trainers who can do magic with little money. Because they want to be in the Champions League, they have to be slow. Flick's meeting could make a difference, but will it pay off? It will be clear in due time.

It's new to me that Hansi Flick led Germany to win the World Cup Wink He was assistant coach of Jogi Low in 2014 when Germany became world champion, but he was not in the lead at this time. And he worked later for Bayern before he became national coach of Germany were he miserably failed. So, Barca could be a good option. Money will not be the problem. Barca will not find a cheaper option if they want to get quality.

Indeed he failed miserably as the national coach and he lost trust quickly. He lost trust much faster than Jogi, who was lucky enough to have some very patient people around him or otherwise they would have sacked him long before they actually did it. But they acted quickly concerning Flick.

But I think that Barcelona could be a project that is doomed to fail for any coach if they can't improve the player quality due to liquidity shortages. It rarely matters whether Flick is a genius or not, I doubt that he can bring Barcelona back on track.

Jogi Low really should have been sacked earlier. But he had the World Cup title and several final and semi-final appearances to his credit. That's why he had a lot of credit, which was used up at some point. Hansi Flick didn't have that, which is why he was sacked sooner, albeit justifiably.

In fact, I also think that Barca is a hell of a job with this situation the club is at the moment. You have to build the team from scratch, just like Klopp has done with Liverpool since 2016. Hansi Flick could be a good candidate for that.
