as far as I know Girona is incredibly strong financially as the City Football Group is behind it. Of course there is still an incentive for players to leave the club if they have an offer from teams like Real Madrid or Liverpool and others. I am not sure whether Manchester City would purchase Girona players as they would weaken a team that is under the same management by the same investors.
But what you mentioned is interesting because I think having young players who never won anything big can be an advantage sometimes. However, being Real Madrid with all the experience in the minds of the players seems to not have been hurting in the past either.
In 21/22, Girona were in La Liga 2 and 22/23 they were ended at the 10th spot and now having top spot without any doubt this is one of the best achievement for any team in any league, but they achieve this all in presence of teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético Madrid which is more than amazing stuff even we have nearly 16 rounds left about any further details but still they achieve this historic success it's not easy with their mostly players are young and having not big names which are also exceptional hopefully now after the end of this season they will have some good funds due to sell of few players which are now under radar of many big clubs which will make them good profit, and they could be felt better for the next season as well.
Here I also have no doubt as they will be having huge offers and things will be completely change in summer because their performance is without any doubt at the top level in UEFA leagues which can bring good fortune for the owners as well.
