To me the idea of decentralized betting platforms have always had something attractive to them, I have not personally tried this one and I will likely wait for a very long time before joining a decentralized service of betting. However, that does not mean I am not curious that kind of oracles and arbiters they are supposed to be using to settle their results.
In my experience, every time I have talk to the representative of a decentralized services (related or unrelated to gambling) they have admitted to have some kind of safeguard mechanism in their smart contracts, so they can used their private keys to move funds around and settle result by their own, in case of emergencies or disputes.
So, even though it is obvious one may need to have some plan reserved in case de smart contracts or the oracles started to fail or bug, most of this platforms are not truly decentralized.
I try not to negatively judge them for that though and focus on the quality they offer to people. I have seen some scams accusations on the first posts of this thread, unsure whether they have been solved or not...
