Karmashares seems interesting, however, how would you prove that you own these shares to sell generates shares (or sell them all if you want in the future)?
For example, if I was the owner of
THESE shares then where is the proof? A screen shot of you wallet or something like that? Because that could easily be photo-shopped/faked.
The shares are attached to the wallet, which will be viewable to all in the Share Explorer. This is powered by the blockchain.
You can prove you own the wallet address (by signing a message) so would be able to prove that you have the shares.
And while it can be proven that the coins have been transferred for shares what's to stop you closing the shares scheme down and keeping all the coins??
Enforceable and binding legal agreements.
And common sense.
please dont take my post as a negative i'm just trying to get some facts.
i've seen a few things recently that looked good turn sour, minersbit for one i was so very close to sending them some money before it crashed
as it happens i ended up investing the money i'd transfered in to karmacoins when the price was 1sat only for the price to then drop to the lows it's been recently i keep coming back here time and time again, mining the coins buying when they are low all based on the trust you guys ask us to put in you but every time i see the value of my effort dropping more and more, so forgive me for asking so many questions.
