I hope that De Rossi will be a differentiating figure for AS Roma because apart from being an AS Roma legend and he also has the responsibility to bring this club to compete in Serie A with other teams. Even though in the previous two matches they only faced weak teams, the coaching system made quite a lot of changes, where ball touches and attack patterns were much more measured and their defense also looked much better. The match against Inter Milan is the starting point for him and if he is able to hold Simone Inzaghi's men to a draw then his reputation will be even better because Inter Milan looks so strong now.
AS Roma has the opportunity to occupy fourth place in the standings if they are consistent in the next three matches because currently they are only one point behind Atalanta who are in the top four of the standings. De Rossi's task is not easy, but fans and management must give him the opportunity to prove himself and if that support is there then I am sure he can bring AS Roma to a much better finish than last season.
Roma overtime have been a good impactful team in the Serie A league, they're a good side and they've got huge task to prove a point and endure that they don't go below commendations too. They were once a team that could definitely be compared to the likes of Inter and Juventus. However they need to step up their game and try to get up to that standard once again.
The coach they have currently is skillful, they may technically be lacking a little bit of player quality but I believe they can make do with what they have. Recent game outcomes haven't been so terrible or bad for them. They're staying in shape and hopefully with time and weeks going by, they'll be able to stay back at their deserved top spots. The season has a couple of games left for Roma to show it's ability. They will try to be relevant in both the Serie A and Europa League too.
