Indeed, it's more fun when you see your merit higher than your rank. You now seem to wait for activities because others seem to be looking for merit to qualify them for the next rank, and from your merit history and the way you are going, it's certain for you to earn that legendary rank merit and even more before that time.
I guess I will be seeing my Hero member rank anytime soon, as my activities are scheduled to be updated next Wednesday, and I will then be left with a new challenge to get the required merit for legendary before that time comes.
Thanks and good luck to you too. By the way, I think merit hunting usually turns out to be a disaster most of the time. All the people I "know" who have high merits usually don't try too much for it. Most of the people I respect in this forum have earned merits without any effort, just by being polite, to-the-point, knowledgeable and good at explaining what they want to say.
Yea, this is true, as I have also noticed that over the little time I've been here, if you are chasing the merit, you can only end up not getting it, or even if you get it, it can't exceed a certain limit as the tactics you might be using might end up failing you, but when you are being your self-learning and contributing positively in the little ways you can, you can just see the merits coming even when you less expect them. I was given advice when I was coming up on the forum by one member whom I respect so much. The statement was, "Don't chase merit; allow merit to chase you."
