Although Yugoslavia has not officially existed since 1991, what they are unofficially dealing with today in Brussels is the so-called Euroslavia project, which should include all the former republics of Yugoslavia. So far, Slovenia and Croatia have joined the EU, and all other former republics are in negotiations with Brussels. Unfortunately, they do not know that all these nations have never been and will never be able to be together, and each of their separations was ended by war, and I have no doubt that it will be different in the future.
The Euroslavia project is a big plan that allows the former republics to work together and have the same goals. It is true that there are big problems and fights from the past in the region but we shouldn't think that these problems will always cause more wars. The European Union was made to help countries that used to fight each other to have peace and work together.
Even though there are difficulties it's important to be hopeful and believe that the Euroslavia project can bring good changes. The countries in the region have already made progress in working together and if they keep trying they can come together successfully under the Euroslavia project.
