If they failed to win it when they had Messi, Neymar and Mbappé, then I don't think they can do it this season. I even have doubts if they can reach the Semi Finals. Mbappé alone is not going to help them. I saw how thy played in the Group stages and although their group was labelled as group of death, 2 draw and 2 losses far low for a team looking to challenge all the way to the finals
Agree with you. PSG best era was when they had trio strikers Messi-Neymar-Mbappe. If in that era they couldn't win the trophy, it is more impossible to win it in the current era. We don't forget that they are very difficult to qualify to knock-out round this season. They were almost eliminated in group stage by AC Milan because they have the same total points. How they can win UCL trophy if they were difficult to qualify to the current round? Sure, it seems hard to achieve the semi-final round. Let's hope PSG can win against Real Sociedad first before predicting PSG to be the champion. It Real Sociedad defeats them, there is no way to win UCL trophy for PSG.
Undoubtedly, the current squad of Paris Saint Germaine isn't the best they've had in the last five years. When Lionel Messi joined the club, Paris Saint Germaine arguably had best forward line in world football then but never did the presence of the four times winner inspire them to at least reach the semi final of the competition and that's why a lot of people have already written them off from the list of favorite teams that will win the UEFA Champions League title this season.
