It's a boring trade this year.
Well let's wait if there's something big that will come out, we still have 4 days if I am right.
Here is the latest and it's not appealing at all.
Rockets trade for Grizzlies’ Adams (Feb. 1)
Rockets receive:
Steven Adams
Grizzlies receive:
Victor Oladipo
Three second-round picks

A win for the Rockets? Maybe.
I don't see Oladipo being the same Oladipo anymore. He was a rising star before the injury but in today's game and how I see it with his performances, I don't think we will see that same speed and agility anymore. Even if the injury is fully healed, the mental effect will linger.
Unlike Adams, he has shown tenacity and I think anyone who wants a big man will consider him.
When I heard this trade, I also thought 'aren't they both injured for this year?'. It is an interesting trade. I agree that Rockets are the more advantageous one in this trade. Oladipo will probably never be the same. If Steve Adams can come back somewhat healthy, healthy enough play regularly, Rockets can benefit from him a lot. Because they already have Alperen Sengun for the center position. He can score a lot but when the teams needs some toughness, Adams can play and it will get the team tough enough. And also, they never play Alperen as the 4th but Adams and Alperen can play both at the same time maybe. I would try that if I were a coach.
