Yes, it's true that Dortmund is one of the popular clubs in the Bundesliga which is always able to compete with the big clubs in the Bundesliga, but what makes this club look a little bad is that it often sells its talented players to make a profit and this season we can't see which players have been successfully developed to become players who has quality talent, even though Jadon Sancho has started competing with Dortmund, but when his performance improves, Dortmund will not be able to make a decision because Sancho current status is only on loan, but I am sure that Jadon Sancho will be a player who has very good talent at Dortmund.
Bayern Munich are simply too strong and dominating in Bundesliga and to beat them through a season, it's not easy. Dortmund can do it if they have enough star players in their club but they failed to do this. Because the sports and transfer strategy in Dortmund is buy cheap, sell high. They are very good to grow young players up, to star players, then sell them to get money.
Think if Dortmund have Haaland, Sancho, Jude Bellingham in a same team when those players reach to best time in their career, I am sure Dortmund are competitive enough against Bayern Munich. The reality is Dortmund sold all of those star players and Sancho only returned with a loan contract from Manchester United.
