I was introduced to this forum by a brother five months ago and I always call him to ask questions about the do's and don't's of this forum but I think it's high time I started asking the right questions here by myself, hence this post.
I've made almost a hundred posts and yet I have only few merit, what am I doing wrong? Are my posts not quality enough? If yes, please I need corrections and guidelines to grow my account. I truly need words of encouragement and affirmation that am on the right track to enable me step up in the game and I also need you guys to help me point out some of my posts that aren't so good, if there are any, so I can learn from my mistakes and do better.
I would have sent a direct message to some senior men here to get some information but this place isn't like social media and I don't know how to, as a newbie that I am, I know most of us will tell me about rules and regulations, plagiarism, spamming, but y'all don't have to worry about that because am a rule keeper and I avoid plagiarism and the rest of it like a plague.
I understand how you feel fellow but not to worry as life is in stages and it takes time to achieve great results. I've been on this platform for quite some months now and I have been observing the activities here that's why I have made few posts, I spend most of my time whenever I come here to read others and learn rather than give any opinion yet. If you watch some legendary here some of them have even spend a decade here so that's to show you how devoted they have been in the forum and were able to achieve the awesome results they have now so do not be discouraged that your post ain't getting enough merit. It isn't that your post are not of good qualities but rather maybe you are making posts in the wrong board that have few moderators and maybe merit sources doesn't access the boards in which you make posts hence your post may not be visible enough to be merited.
Moreover, I went through your post history and discovered that you are a Nigerian, the Nigeria local board base on my findings doesn't have enough merit source as the only source I made research and saw was just @cryptoprenuerBrainboss and it seems his merit allocation isn't enough to go through members of your local board so what the members of your board needs is to solicit for more merit sources so that some of your quality posts can be visible to be Merited by a merit source.
