Let the other forum decide on what will happen to that person, since the account was not sold here in BTT, so I don't see how justice can be done here. The other forum don't give a fuck about what happens over there like account abuse, neither do they take the offenses that BTT take serious very serious. When you plagiarize, you will only have a negative Karma, unlike here that it will lead to the ban of your account. I wouldn't blame them over there as they have few users and nothing like signature campaign. If not for the ban of mixers that forum would have still remain like a ghost land.
I also do think that in the future, their rules over there will not change drastically. Maybe it could gradually blend with the rules of Bitcointalk because the teleported users entered with bitcointalk vibes and all the suggestions there are according to what is obtainable in bitcointalk. Why I believe that their rules won't change drastically (maybe issuing ban instead of -ve karma for plagerism), is because they have something like executives or boards that sit and make decisions. Unlike here where issues are treated case be case and both admin, mods, staff and even DT members can just act without consultations
You summed it up very well here. It's vice versa too. So I must say that protect your account on the other forum too so that anything bad does not affect you on this forum too.
Do you mean it's better if we teleport the account there? Instead of having our account cloned or having the username imitated in another forum? This sounds logical to me and perhaps regardless of whether we want to use that account or not, at least no one can claim our account on another forum.
I don't think it is necessary to compulsorily teleport your account to that forum even when you don't wish to discuss there for the fear of being impersonated. Stating a disclaimer here that you are not in Altcoinstalks is enough to disregard any account impersonating you, or destroy it with -ve karma
