Well before now, Mbappe was a prospect but Ancelloti has said for now he won't be making any change to his squad and he's comfortable with them. I believe they have what it takes to get the species of forward they want in the team and the team's commitment and bond would really boost their results.

He has been their striker of all time goal scorer and that's why they are looking for the same built player that can mark another history for them and they think Mbape is the one that can do that calling and because he is not appreciated in France, they want to have him into the team to come explore what he is missing out in Spain but I think the style of the team is Okay for now. Not all the time a striker will even be helpful in a match.
From the look of things, Mbape will leave PSG even if he doesn't go to Real Madrid but which club will have a player like that, if he leaves Real Madrid will fight to have him because since 2021 they are meaning to get him to Real Madrid and that's why I think it's better to watch what is going to happen in the end of the season so as not to be disappointed.

I don't think Real Madrid will sit still for the Mbappe deal. I know that they are not satisfied with the strikers they have. Joselu is just a temporary player to replace Benzema. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, these two players have yet to show the quality to carry Real Madrid's attack. Mbappe is a striker with enough qualities to help Real Madrid open a new era, allowing them to dominate Europe once again like Ronaldo did. The Bernabeu team offered Mbappe an unsatisfactory salary. Perhaps that is the reason why this deal was not successful. Ancelotti will not have the right to decide on this deal, Real Madrid will have to spend a large amount of money to get Mbappe, sooner or later.
