Why not close the creation of self-moderated topics in the Announcements (Altcoins) thread? In addition, you can add keywords of famous FakeAnn to the forum spam-filter (Perfix, Coldwater, Aniquis etc). These two steps will help curb the publication of malware and enable users to warn others on the topic. Currently, the theme author has the ability to remove warnings and inexperienced users run the risk of downloading malware.
