What are the chances of bitcoin going extinct?
In my opinion, it could become extinct if there are no transactions for Bitcoin itself, but for now we still don't know when it will become zero, but in the near future I don't think it will happen.
Your totally correct, the extinct is zero for now such occurance may be under probabilities ,if an only if it happens there is not transaction. Though there are many competitors but in as much bitcoin stand to be number one, they keep improving in their standard I don't think such will have any room.
