West Indies lost the momentum which is provided by the opening batsmen. They lost 4 quick wickets and now the game is shifted in favour of Australians. West Indies right now need 72 runs on 30 balls which wont be an easy thing to do against Australian bowling lineup. Last 5 overs left of the game and Australian bowling successfully created panic in West Indies dressing room who are very much comfortable till 10th over.
Some fireworks in the end from West Indian lower order batsmen. Even then, they lost the match by 11 runs. Jason Holder and Akeal Hosein took it to the very last over. But unfortunately for West Indies, that was not going to be enough. The spells by Adam Zampa and Marcus Stoinis in the middle broke the backbone of West Indian batting. Both of them bowled 7 overs and took 5 wickets after conceding just 46 runs in total. In a match where the required run rate was above 10 runs per over, these are exceptional numbers.
