Look, I get that my use of the term, "meme coin" triggers people, so I'll stop using it.
I merely meant that Bitcoin's primary value was based on it's brand, which is very plain to see when you compare it to other cryptocurrencies with the exact same technical specifications as Bitcoin and yet have only a tiny fraction of Bitcoin's value.
Terms like that actually don't matter as long as they are used correctly, because for me as long as they are not Bitcoin. So the crypto asset is an altcoin, so the term might be more appropriate considering that currently there are so many altcoins that are trying to equate themselves with Bitcoin. Even though they will never be the same as Bitcoin, moreover the value itself is very different in the eyes of many people because Bitcoin is the only best asset in crypto to date.
