The result of the game is a surprise considering Bayern Munich have reputation for scoring goals and dominating matches. Leverkusen's ability to capitalize on scoring opportunities and secure a 3-0 victory undoubtedly came as a surprise to many. This defeat not only affects Bayern Munich's chances of overtaking Leverkusen but also impacts their mentality to keep challenging for the title. With Leverkusen now leading the table with a five-point difference, Bayern Munich faces a more challenging task in their pursuit of the Bundesliga title this season.
The gap between the two teams certainly gives Leverkusen a boost in confidence and momentum as they continue their campaign. However, in football, anything can happen, and there are still many matches to be played. But the Bundesliga title race is far from over, and both Bayern Munich and Leverkusen will need to maintain consistency and focus in the remaining matches to secure their positions at the top of the table. Fans can expect an exciting and closely contested battle for the title as the season progresses
Without any doubt this was one of the worst performance from the Bayern Munich as things were completely out of their control and Bayer Leverkusen having good control which allow them to have big won against one of the best team for decades here in Bundesliga now we have this is second-worst defeat for them after having 5–1 against Frankfurt their fans are surely feeling not good as their team which is having the best attack fail to produce any goal in this game.
Here I have to be agreed about title race is finished because still we have 13 matches and many changes can happen even mostly we have no surprises in Bundesliga but while Bayern Munich is in chase things can take good changes so we have to wait for few more weeks talking about Bayer Leverkusen as the winner.
Bayern Munich is in a phase of decline since being handled by Thomas Tuchel. You can see their journey last season, even the title decision had to come down to the last match. And this season it seems like the failure for the Bavarians is starting to become clear, the defeat to Bayern Leverkusen means the points gap between the two is starting to widen and even though the season is still long I am starting to be pessimistic about Harry Kane and his friends.
Meanwhile I really have to give credit to Xabi Alonso, he was really able to do something truly extraordinary for Bayern Leverkusen. Alonso is one step closer to making history and I hope he is able to do that.
