In second T20 Australia scored a big total 241/4 for west indies. G. Maxwell played an impressive inning of 120 runs from just 55 balls that helped Australia to set huge total of 242 for west indies. West indies lost his 5 wickets in just 67 runs in first powerplay of the match now they need 171 runs from 79 balls that a quite difficult for west indies to win the match from this position.
In 2 nd game, Australia team against won this game and 1 st game was also won by Australia team and now their team lead with 2 games from west Indies team. West Indies team won toss and they gave a opportunity to Australia team for giving target for chasing. Australia team was set 241 runs in 20 overs by losing 4 wickets and this target was too big in 20 overs and strong in cricket world could not chase down this target. West Indies team did not chase down this big target and entire team player was dismissed for 207 runs and lost this game by 34 runs. G.Maxwell got a player of game award due to overall effort and G.Maxwell scored 120 runs in 55 balls with twelve 4s and eight 6s and also he took down 2 wickets by catching.
Again in this match, West Indies played well. But the only reason they ended up losing the matches was Glenn Maxwell alone. He has played a gem of an innings. Even at this age, he comes up with these kind of performances which are not very much expected to be honest. Anyone can look towards the result of the match and say that West Indies should have done better in the bowling. But the truth is West Indies or even anyone else did not expect this performance from Maxwell. Let's be honest West Indies played pretty well in both of the matches. It is just that they were not able to reach the total because it was seriously big.
