There are no free meals anywhere. A faucet usually changes your time and effort for a minimal amount of crypto in return. They made sense in the past when the price was very low and made sense to accumulate this way, but nowadays that is gone really - it does not matter if it is a casino or anything else - your time is more valuable that a few sats.
A few satoshis one would not even be able to withdraw anyways, because of the high minimum withdrawals set up by the casino staff themselves, it is about increasing profitability and minimizing the chances for people to actually getting money off the casino, as usual.
By the way, you would be amazed on how much people with much spare time are willing to sacrifice hours of their life to get some free satoshis they can later gamble away in some spins of rolling dices. If they thought a bit, they would realize they could monetize their time in a more effective way by applying to an actual job, instead of trying to get a few satoshis to gamble in less than an hour. I talk from personal experience, by the way, because when I had much spare time when I was younger I used to spend a whole afternoon accumulating satoshis from a casino faucet and then, when I got a fair amount (not enough to withdraw) I decided to gamble it all. Never had good luck with those satoshis, obviously.
So we can't take that as betting without money and also we can pretend that faucet is a good way of earning but in reality, we have to make more effort to keep up such an amount that can at least facilitate our balance to play more than we think or play for the way we want.
Right, I completely agree. I just wished faucets were not a complete waste of time and there was some way to actually profit a bit out of them and also benefit the casino who is holding the fscuet in their webpage. For example, nowadays faucets are basically some kind of demo for people to try the casinos without having to deposit their own money to gamble, even though it is a profitable business practice for the casino, it would be good if they allowed to withdraw some of the rewards and at the bare minimum people decorated to faucets could buy a meal after a week-long session of catching those rewards. The objective would not be to completely get money out the casino, but mix that strategy to advertise the service.
A casino with a faucet integrated on it could get a sponsor and said sponsor to give money to boost the rewards of the faucet and pay for ads on the casino, eventually people will crow on the faucet because they could make up to 1$ a day or so, as they get the satoshis they see the advertisements of the sponsor and some will spend their satoshis won in the faucet to gamble on the casino itself. It is a win-win situation for all parties involved.
