Hello senior citizens and my fellow newbies gambler's, now I gat a straight forward question for you all.
How do I prepare myself for my first gambling experience?
What are the things I should expect as a first time gambler?
How do we react to my first gambling results be it winning or lose?
Thank you all for your helpful opinions.
My gambling experience was not a happy one but I experienced losing my first betting bet. It was a sportsbetting experience and since I had no experience in that experience, I made a mistake in choosing the team while placing the bet, which caused my first bet to lose. Since this was my bet on a football match, if my team selection was not correct I had no choice but to lose. But my first betting experience was a small amount of loss, so my gambling losses were small, so my experience of sadness was also small.
I would say you are lucky because I believe that people who often get addicted to gambling are the ones who manage to win some money in their first few gambling sessions. After all, this outcome creates a positive perspective for gambling in their mind and they keep thinking that they can earn money from gambling which makes them gamble more and if they don't stop, they eventually become addicted to gambling.

This is why, though it's kind of sad losing money, you shouldn't be sad because this notion might save you from a bigger loss by saving you from getting addicted. However, since you said it was on sports betting, I think sports betting is not as addictive as gambling games are, and one can barely get addicted to sports betting this easily.
