In my opinion Bitcoin represents a transformative force for the principles of decentralization, transparency and financial sovereignty.  Bitcoin is an easy way to break free from traditional financial systems and embrace a fully decentralized digital currency.  Moreover, the technology underlying bitcoin, blockchain, encourages innovation and empowers individuals to participate in peer-to-peer networks that transcend geographic boundaries.
