It's true, big losses on gambling can be avoided by having discipline in finances and also with good control, of course discipline can happen if we have self-control but discipline and limits cannot be had if there is no good self-control in us. The loss in gambling can be avoided but not with defeat defeat in gambling is certain to occur and it cannot be avoided because it is a sure thing that will happen in the gambling that we do but if we have good self-control there will be no big losses, there will be no depositing money back in one gambling session aimed at pursuing victory or recovering losses.

gambling is basically just a means of entertainment in the form of paid games, if you consider gambling as a means of making money of course it is not true, although there is a chance to get a win but it cannot be ascertained, and by considering gambling as entertainment the victory that exists in gambling is a bonus that can be obtained if we have luck because if we do not have control then there will be no victory that can be obtained even though there are people who try their hardest to get a win in gambling but if they don't have luck then they won't be able to get it therefore we must be able to realize to stop before a big loss will happen to us.
That is why gamblers must know when they should stop gambling so they can avoid large losses in gambling. Many gamblers don't know when they should stop gambling, which makes them only experience bigger and bigger losses. They really have to learn to control themselves well so that they can prevent defeat, and there will be no desire to recover from their defeat because they know that it will only increase the number of losses even more. It is with self-control that a gambler can determine when he has to stop, especially after he has been gambling for a while, so that he will immediately realize that he has to stop after this.

Gambling is for fun and not to make money, but because gamblers become greedy, especially after winning, they continue gambling instead of stopping their gambling activities. They think they can still get a win they haven't gotten in the next rounds, but that still doesn't guarantee they can. If they knew how to treat gambling well and correctly, they would not have lost so much and spent all their money. They will just try to enjoy their gambling moments well and will not think about when they can win because winning is a bonus for them. They will always try to control themselves when gambling, especially controlling the use of money and time so that they don't gamble excessively, which could cause them to suffer large losses if they violate it.
