Real Madrid will be the club to win the trophy this season both in Laliga and UCL. Girona was like trying to be on the title race with them, but the last match between these two clubs, shows that Girona is in no match to compete with Real Madrid in the title race. However, Girona has put up a wonderful performance this season, and I hope to see them in the Champions League next season.
Girona might find it difficult to win Athletic Bilbao who are currently in a good form, and they have no respect for any club. I hope that Girona will try their possible best to see that they win Bilbao or else they will drop points again, which is not something good at this time of the league.
Regarding the La Liga title, FIX I agree, but regarding the Champions League title I am still pessimistic about this possibility.
Of course I don't doubt Real Madrid's ability and experience in the Champions League, but the competing teams seem to be as strong or maybe stronger than Real Madrid. There are several problems that are actually a bit risky in the Real Madrid squad, that is the defense even though so far they are the team with the best defense in La Liga.
Qualify to quarter-finals is a reasonable thing to hope for, but when it comes to the semi-finals and finals, it really depends on who the opponents are. I hope this season's journey isn't as tough as last season and Real Madrid have to avoid Manchester City or Bayern Munich, who probably have great potential to qualify for the semi-finals.
