Only stupid parents prioritize their passion for gambling rather than their children.
That's vulgar but true. And it's a real thing and there could be even other more of these cases that are not published because they're isolated case for some and doesn't able to report it to the authorities. But it's sad that there are kids that are affected by their parents gambling addiction and who knows next time if there's a news about a mother that has also left their kids just to satisfy herself with gambling addiction and went to the casino. As leaving kids on the car were also in the news while a mother goes to shopping in the grocery store so as this is possible too.
Sometimes I wonder why the parents (who are involved in gambling) can be so careless with their children. Keeping too small children alone at home or at the car is too much dangerous but still, they have the confidence of doing so. Are they really ignorant of the consequences of such acts or they do not have time or too much responsibility on their shoulders?
If they want to go out for the gambling (in a physical casino), they may ask any relative to take care of them in that period. This is just one suggestion, as there are a number of to handle these situations and thus not leaving the kids at their home alone in these situations.
I think the authorities should take serious action against such parents, so no one even think of doing this again. Treating them softly will not make much difference and such incidents will increase.
