Actually, other methods besides DCA also have their own security, but sometimes they are more burdensome when someone wants to do it. Because methods like DCA are usually a little easier and not so burdensome when someone wants to do it every month even though basically they have to use capital when they want to buy it. However, the DCA method can always be tricked with our own abilities, which basically don't have to be in large quantities.
DCA is just a strategy and usually each strategy has its own advantages and disadvantages. You may have missed the opportunity to buy $15k worth of bitcoin last year because of DCA, while you had enough budget to buy 1 bitcoin at a time. I don't blame you for using a different strategy than DCA to accumulate bitcoin, but DCA is certainly more suitable for those who can do it consistently.
DCA can allow you to avoid buying at high prices, while you can also avoid buying a lot at low prices. But all investors seem to be aware of that and perhaps they can adjust their strategies when needed.
