This is possibly the first time the site is down for me since 2015 I joined and staring using FreeBitco, but all the same, I don't think there is any reason to panic, FreeBitco have been into a lot of stuffs lately,
Yes, I was also surprised to read these comments as I never heard this site freebitco going down ever, but again even the best of best servers and technology can have some issues and experience the downtime. Anyway, the site is back up and running
It's nothing strange or uncommon. Many poplar sites often experience DDoS attacks. Even bitcointalk recently had frequent system crashes. As for FreeBitcoin, you can easily check this thread for past posts. There have been mentions of outages and DDoS attacks since 2016, if not earlier.
