Bitcoin, which was the first cryptocurrency, was created to become a decentralized peer-to-peer payment system helping people deal with issues that they face due to centralized payment methods and traditional financial systems. The aim of Bitcoin was never to provide a better living standard to people, and it's not even about educated or uneducated, it wasn't meant to be used as an investment asset when it was created, it became one later on when more and more people started adopting it and its price started going up because of the supply being limited.

So, cryptocurrencies are not here to increase the living standard of anyone, but someone who understands them, knows how they are used, and learns how they can trade them so that they can gain financial gains can be able to improve their living standard, but if you talk about uneducated, I don't know if they can do that.
